Obituary
Gayla E. Ruiz, age 71, of Pearcy, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Friday, December 23, 2022. She was born on March 30, 1951, in Littlefield, TX; the daughter of Frank Norris and Jimmie Dean Derr Milton. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Judy Buck and Suedena Kokemueller and her brother, Keith Milton.
She is survived by her husband, David Ruiz of Pearcy; two children and their spouses, Kim (Doug) Phillips of Pearcy and Chad (Kristin) Harris of Platteville, WI; two grandchildren, Aaron Phillips of Mabelvale and Olivia Harris of Platteville, WI; and sister-in-law, Debbie Milton of Hot Springs.
She was a homemaker, member of the Hot Springs Seventh-day Adventist Church, was known as a prayer warrior, and loved her family and her pets with her whole heart.
Services will be held at 11am, Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the Hot Springs Seventh-day Adventist Church, with Pastor Lynn Baerg and Pastor James Milam officiating.
