Gilda Sue Duncan

Gilda Sue Duncan, age 70, of Marshall, Arkansas passed from this life on Saturday, August 26th, 2023 at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Marshall, Arkansas on February 21st, 1953 to Guy Oliver Duncan and Iva Lee Mathis Duncan.

Gilda lived in Welcome Home as a small child before her family moved to California. She grew up in Hallwood, California. Gilda graduated from the Redken School of Beauty, and excelled as a hair dresser in Yuba City, California for many years. She was also a very artistic woman who took pride in anything she created. Gilda loved music and fine wine. She is remembered for her signature red lipstick and beautiful makeup. Gilda enjoyed being a dance mom which required much time and patience. She adored her grandchildren. 

Survivors include her father Guy Duncan of Clinton, Arkansas, her sister Debbie Kelley of Billings, Montana, son Caley (Christa) Smith of Marshall, Arkansas, daughter Joci Sullivan of Yuba City, California, grandchildren Angela Mendoza, Benjamin Llamas, Phoenex Smith, Rocky Smith, and great-granddaughter Luciana Mendoza, along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Gilda is preceded in death by her mother, Iva Lee Duncan and her sister Barbara Ann Duncan.

Arrangements for a memorial will be announced at a later date.
