Joyce Edna Eder, 82,  of Clinton Arkansas, has fallen asleep in death on July 18, 2020, at Ozark Health Nursing Home. She was born on March 3, 1938, at Brainerd Minnesota, to the late Custer and Edna Nelson.
Joyce is survived by her two sons and their wife’s, Roy and Georgia Wilcox from New Brighton Minnesota and Benjamin and Maria Wilcox from Clinton, Arkansas; one granddaughter Nicole and her husband Sam Madden from Blaine Minnesota;  one step granddaughter Josephine Garcia from San Clemente, California; two step grandsons Chris Wilcox from Clinton Arkansas, and Julio Zambrano from Chicago Illinois; one great grandson Parker Madden; one great granddaughter Palmer Madden; one step great grandson Isaac Ramirez; one sister Alice; and husband Howie Pickles and their children from Minnesota; one brother Albert (Spike) and wife Debbie Nelson and their children from Minnesota, one sister in-law Sue and husband Gary Meyer and their children from Garnavillo Iowa; one brother in-law Michael Meyer and his children from Iowa.
Along with her parents, Custer and Edna Nelson, she is preceded in death by her first husband Larry Wilcox, and latest husband Ronald Eder; her sister Virginia Nelson; grandson Jeremy Wilcox; sister in-law Helen Eder; and her nice Maria Richardson.
Joyce enjoyed 27 happy years of her life with Ron until he went to rest, they made many wonderful memories together. They enjoyed adventures in nature, hunting, fishing, and traveling. They also enjoyed doing different projects together such as building of a cabin with Ron’s Nephew, Terry Price (Sue’s son).  Joyce also enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing, and quilting. She loved when Maria, Sue’s daughter, and her kids came to visit her. She made Maria's favorite bars, she also had lots of adventures with Sue and Gary, she was delighted when Tiger and Di’ (Michaels kids) came to visit her and Ron. The last trip she made was to visit Roy and Georgia and the grandkids in Minnesota. She related the tale of when Parker caught his first fish, and how much she enjoyed seeing the great grand kids. She lived with Ben and Maria (Lupe) for the last 7 years of her life, and she was very content being taken care by both of them. Over seven years together they became like one, she also enjoyed the company of Chris very much.
Joyce learned about the beautiful promise that God has for us, to be resurrected by His loving Son, in a perfect life and youthful. She wanted to be remembered as she was in her early years. She hoped to be brought to life in the resurrection and meet with Ron again.
