Kailee Su Nestor Montez "DJ", 46, of Foreman, Arkansas yielded her spirit to its benevolent Author. She fought a long-term battle with multiple sclerosis and diabetes. She was an "overcomer"; however, COVID-19 cheated her of her life. She was born October 19, 1973 to the late Alfred Lee and Sandra Church Nestor at Coldwater, Michigan.
DJ lived in several places before calling claiming Foreman, Arkansas as her home. She lived in places such as Coldwater, Michigan, San Diego, California, and Compton, California. She married her beloved husband, Secundino Valente Gonzalez Montez “Dino” in 1995. Together they shared 25 loving years together.
In her short life, DJ accomplished her dream of becoming a writer. She loved to write stories and draw characters. She worked in animation, as well as writing mysteries. She once entered and won a contest to write for Disney; however she was taken to soon to fulfill that dream. DJ lived with the battle of MS gracefully. She was in severe pain most days; she didn’t complain nor allow her illness to stand in the way of accomplishing her goals. The children loved hearing her adventurous stories. She was funny and always had a smile to give to others.
DJ was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Lee Nestor and Sandra Lee Nestor. The family will rejoice knowing they are together again for eternity.
She is survived by her loving husband, "Dino"; and her beloved cousin Gabe Martinez along with his children, Dove and Kodah, whom she loved as her own. They will miss her sense of humor and beautiful smile. She knew how to light up the room wherever she was. DJ was a wonderful mother and a devoted wife.
Dino would like to give a heartfelt “Thank you”, to the many friends and family who offered their support during this difficult time. Thank you all for reaching out and sending your condolences.
