Shirley Jean Bennett

Shirley Jean Bennett, 67 passed away on October 13, 2023. Shirley was born to the late Annie (Britton) & Herschell Waller on a cold snowy, January 19, 1956.

She loved her family deeply and enjoyed every minute with them. She loved the Smoky Mountains and traveled there as often as she possibly could with her family and her traveling buddy Diann Poe ( The pair was often referred to as Lucy and Ethel).

In addition to her parents, she is proceeded in death by sisters, Mary Vinson and Lucille Turner. Brother, David Waller, Paul Waller, Lloyd Waller, and Gerald Pearce. Stepfather, Edward Ezell and first husband, Rodney Marsh.

Left to cherish her memory is husband, Sherrel Bennett, daughter, Amanda Blackwell (Brett), son Terry Marsh. Grandchildren, Alexis Rinehart (Ethan), Shelby Marsh, Trey Marsh, Brylee Blackwell, and Step grandson, Landon Carter. Stepchildren, Margie Carter and Richard Bennett. Lastly, her beloved pets, Sugar and Sassy.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Mount Pisgah Baptist Church (722 Mount Pisgah Road) in Searcy, Arkansas.
