Walker Bates Obituary

Walker Dale Boston Bates, 92, of Boles, AR passed away on October 8, 2020 at Pencil Bluff, AR. He was born at Opal, AR on August 2, 1928 to William and Cynthia Bates.

He married his wife MaryLou Elaine Bates on February 18, 1953 at Mena, AR. They shared 65 wonderful years together.

Walker worked as a truck driver, and was an Elder in the Waldron AR Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.

Walker was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and three sisters.

He is survived by a son, Roger Bates; two nieces, Bobby Sue Baker and Paula Jane Givens; and a nephew, Tim Kiser.
